Emily Herkommer is supporting the IMPRS Office as student assistant.
Emily is currently pursuing an MA in Global History at Freie Universität Berlin and Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. She holds a BA in History from the University of Vienna, where she specialized in contemporary history and global history, as well as a BA in International Business Administration from the University of Applied Sciences Vorarlberg. During her undergraduate studies, she spent a semester abroad at the Universidad del Desarrollo in Chile.
From May 2023 to December 2024, Emily worked at the Archive of the Institute of Contemporary History at the University of Vienna, contributing to a digitization project of historical collections.
